It's finally Christmastime, people! It's okay to blare glorious Christmas music at any volume you deem appropriate! One of my favorite things about Christmas music is that 10 different artists can sing the same song, and (mostly) all versions are different and enjoyable. Here are some of the covers and original Christmas songs that I'll be enjoying all month long -- get the playlist on Spotify here.
happy wishlist wednesday! and most importantly, happy day before thanksgiving day!
1. How flipping cute is this Kate Spade lip crayon box? Gimme.
2. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love scarves. This two-tone waffle cowlneck scarf from Gap is all warm and fuzzy and I like it.
3. You can't go wrong with a pretty design and a holiday scent, and you certainly can't go wrong with a diptyque candle.
4. Is there anything more glorious than pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving? IS THERE? nope.
5. I love this "Count Your Blessing" folding notecard for the holiday! Best part? It's free! Check it out at Hello Bee here.
Thanksgiving is this week and I couldn't be more excited! Looking forward to some time spent with family and some amazing food. My family usually keeps it pretty simple decor-wise for this holiday - which I love - but I also really like these beautifully styled tablescapes. Obviously the most important part of Thanksgiving is spending time with those you love and being thankful for all that you have, but why not do it while sitting at a pretty table?
Heading to Minneapolis til Thursday to do a little work! When I get back get ready for some fun gift guides and happy holiday things because it's almost an appropriate time to celebrate the holiday season!!!!
I've been really loving the idea of painting my walls a dark, dramatic color lately. I know it may seem like dark walls would overpower a room, but when done correctly I think it looks extremely chic and sophisticated. By adding things like bright white draperies and furniture, or even using the dark wall as a gallery wall, black or charcoal could be an unexpected, yet amazing paint color.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm glad it's Friday... and I'm loving this photo of Drew Barrymore from the 80's. ALSO I'm super pumped that it's Daylight Savings this weekend. I'm not even kind of a morning person, so I need all of the extra hours of sleep I can get. Cheers to the weekend, I hope you have something fun planned!
I've admired the amazing style of Russian style editor Miroslava Duma for a while now, and I can't seem to get enough of her unique yet sophisticated fashion choices. She is often recognized for her street style during New York and Milan's fashion weeks, and it's hard not to notice her even with her pint-sized stature. She has a way of making high fashion looks seem relatable, and trends that seem out of reach for everyday style become possible when you see how she wears them. Check out a few of my favorite looks of hers from the past few seasons:
