I was so excited to meet up with one of my interior design friends from OSU, Jessica, who took me to the coolest restaurant called The Lion's Share.
Good company and good wine are a hard combo to beat.
We split the corn & tomato salad, sardine bruschetta, and the antelope sliders - all of which were to die for.
I stayed at the Omni San Diego, which was quite nice and in walking distance to a lot of shopping, restaurants, and the convention center.
I stumbled upon this little pizza place called Berkeley Pizza in the Gaslamp District that had awesome deep dish pizza and local craft beers on tap.
I also came across this cupcake shop that was appropriately named Heavenly Cupcake. The Twisted Love cupcake is not to be missed.
My hotel was right next to the Padres' baseball field.
Searsucker was another awesome restaurant in the Gaslamp District - they had amazing decor and the food was great.
Loved these cool light fixtures inside of Searsucker.
Couldn't stop myself from doing a little shopping at Fashion Valley Mall.
I'm seriously obsessed with any restaurant that can be considered a French cafe, so Cafe Chloe was right up my alley. Their mussels in cream were almost as good as the ones I had in Paris. :)
Overall, I had a wonderful time in the lovely city of San Diego. I can't wait for my next trip back!
